About Us

Womens football was introduced to KDSA in 1998 and the number of teams have been growing steadily as more and more females discover the benefits of football.

Girls and Womens games are played on a Sunday and matches are held at various locations throughout the district.

There are usually several divisions within each age group to cater for all skill levels.

GIRLS TEAMS

St Ives offers girls only teams on a Sunday from the age of under 8s. Under 8s,9s and 10s play small sided games.

From Under 12 upwards games are played on a full sized field. The length of the match varies depending on the age group. Training is held one afternoon/evening a week. WOMENS ALL AGE

Open to women from 18 years to 100 years. We currently have several teams in various divisions.

WOMENS OVER 35

This year we will be moving from W30 to W35

In 2008 we fielded a Division one W30 team and a new team in Div 3. We are proud to say that our Div one team finished 2nd on the ladder and our Div 3 team came first!!! In 2009 we hope to retain our winning edge and would like to introduce a third team if numbers are sufficient.
